During these fast paced times, people will be required to change not only jobs, but careers. With technology advancing at warp speeds, many jobs and occupations are becoming obsolete. We have all seen how customers can help themselves with RFID. Lifelong learners will take shifts like these in stride viewing it as opportunity instead of inconvenience. The opportunity to advance and learn new skills can sometimes seem challenging. However, with each challenge comes new chances at advancement both personally and professionally.

I believe that the really hard part will be to instill the values of lifelong learning in our children. This is essential in order for our country to remain competitive. Our children must learn to be flexible in learning and continuing to learn.

The perfect place to foster the values of lifelong learning is in the library. What a great place to be at this time!
